If you’ve landed here, you’re in the right place. I’m Evelyn, a college student who writes as a hobby and loves conveying stories with deep meaning in the most poetically engaging ways. Of course that’s just my style, but what’s yours?

Are there movies, books, or shows you’ve fallen so deeply in love with that you keep revisiting them, wishing you could be a part of their world? Do you have your own non-canonical plots and characters for a favorite fandom that you hold close to your heart?
The Fawn’s Formula is a free writing course designed with your interests in mind. What sets this course apart from other structured approaches is that you’ll get to create your own style, stories, and characters inspired by your favorite movies, TV shows, and books. The course is designed to intuitively improve your writing, seamlessly incorporating mini-lessons as you explore and discover what works best for you.
To clarify, this is not a typical college-level grammar or rhetoric course. If you’re looking for something more structured and academic, I recommend instructor-developed materials like Khan Academy’s SAT writing prep. Now, back to this course!
About the Course
This course consists of 14 lessons, with the first 10 being the most important. Each lesson takes about 15–40 minutes to complete if you thoroughly review the content and exercises. If you prefer to skim through the lessons for future reference, you can complete the entire course in 1–2 hours.
